THE CANAL DU MIDI  : Paul Riquet initiated the project on November 28 th 1662 ; the construction started on 1666 and only ended 15 years later. It is a real technological wonder and such a beautiful piece of work.

You can sail on it, walk or bike on the bank and enjoy the view.

THE VOIE DOMITIENNE ( Via Domitia ): used to connect Italy to Spain .
